For experienced sailors (to RYA Competent Crew and above) and those with a slight competitive edge, keelboat racing in the Solent provides speed, exhilaration and even the chance to win!

'One design' rules ensure that racing our J80 is very equally matched and at times very close! The class is rapidly growing in the Solent and our yacht, 'Wairua', is berthed in the heart of J80 racing territory, in the Hamble.

If racing appeals to you, come and give it a go. A J80 is described as a boat that 'rewards skill, not weight and muscle' so includes women as well as men and all shapes and sizes welcome!

We are offering a limited number of places to join our campaign which will include being on the start line amongst some 70 other J80's at the J80 world championships in Dartmouth in June 2012!

Warsash Spring Series 2012
The Spring Series provides a great warm up for the summer racing season. Short energetic races are held each Sunday morning through March and April from the Hamble.

Before you first race with us you will be required to train on the preceeding Saturday and the minimum number of weekends you can select is two (this is so we have some consistency in our racing team!).

So, you can for instance select to race on the weekend of 13 March and 03 April, in which case you will be required to train with us on Saturday 12 March (see table below for dates).
