If you are a beginner you can be assured that you simply cannot beat the complete sense of freedom that sailing brings. There is nothing better than feeling the wind in your face and seeing it fill the sails!

Both the wind and your actions drive the boat forward to your destination, and there is a real sense of achievement when you are safely moored up, enjoying a drink and reliving the excitement of the day!

Join our Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Start Yachting Course.

RYA Start Yachting Course

If you want to find out whether you might love sailing then the RYA Start Yachting Course is the course for you!

It provides an opportunity to be involved in handling the boat under sail and power and can be completed over a weekend (2 days). It can then count towards your RYA Competent Crew Course if you decide that sailing is for you!

We offer a holistic sailing experience for beginners which enables you to challenge your abilities and realise your potential. But don't take our word for it- come and find out for yourself!

Our instructors are sensitive to individual needs and will help you to build your confidence and feel safe, by taking account of your ability now and where you want to get to!
